Air Travel in Colombia Sees Steady Growth in Early 2025
Air transport in Colombia recorded sustained growth during the first four months of the year. According to data from the Civil Aviation Authority’s Analytics Office, 18,223,000 engers were transported between January and April 2025, representing a 3.4% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Of the total reported, 7.8 million engers traveled on international flights, an increase of 600,000 travelers over the previous year. This trend reflects an expansion in air connectivity and a rise in the number of international visitors.
In of cargo and mail transport, 326,046 tons were moved during the first four months of the year, marking a 3.1% increase, or 9,771 additional tons, compared to the same period in 2024. This growth points to improved logistics flows and greater activity in both domestic and international trade operations.
